Here you will find a little more detail
about the various types of "Get Paid" programs there are
available to you. Take a moment to read about each one. Not all are for
everyone though to maximize your income it is best in our opinion to join
everything you can find. They cost nothing and take little time to join
but a few cents here and a dollar there from 100 programs is more than
from 10! Through these pages you will find our opinions and
recommendations about individual programs. There are some steps to take
initially though before signing up for programs and you will find our
suggestions here.
There are many programs that will
allow you to earn money from e-mail. Some pay you to read e-mail they send
you, some pay you to use their web based e-mail service. Most pay just a
few cents per mail but with the right choice of interests and a good down
line they can soon add up. The nicest thing about e-mail programs is that
you deal with the mail at your convenience and it has no impact on your
web surfing experience. Visit our "Get Paid To Read/Send
E-Mail" page. Our number one recommended program is HT Mail.
They will pay 24 cents a mail if you visit their advertisers site and 8
cents if you only read the e-mail. They send a fair number of e-mails and
their referral structure is good. As with all paying programs the money
really adds up only when you begin to establish a good down line. Visit HT Mail
and sign up now.
Most of
us that use the web use search engines many times a day. Has it ever
struck you how nice it would be to get paid for searching? Well you can.
Search Engines that pay are relatively new and there are not many out
there but more will follow. Those that are up and running provide an easy
way to earn a little. They pay only two or three cents a search and may
require you to select the first couple of search results in order to be
paid but the results are as good as any of the other search engines and
hey - you are running searches anyway. To find out more visit our "Get Paid To Search"
page now. We choose to use ePilot
as our search engine of choice, they pay 3 cents a search (wait for the
results page to load fully) regardless of which resulting pages you choose
to visit and their referral structure is good. Visit ePilot
to sign up and get paid to search now.
Most
of us like to voice our opinions. Wouldn't it be nice if you could
actually make money form doing just that? Well you actually can. There are
several Market Research Companies that do work on-line and pay people for
their participation. Mostly you register with them and include a profile
of your interests and they contact you by e-mail when they would like to
invite you to participate in some research. This may be going to a site
and completing a form or taking part in a live discussion forum at a
specified time. Payment can be anywhere from $5 to $20 or more for one
survey. There are also one or two companies entering the market now with a
new slant to getting paid to voice opinions. For something a little
different that will earn you money go check out eVoiceOut
or for more details on how to make money from surveys and the like visit
our "Get Paid For Voicing
Your Opinion" page.
Probably the most
talked about and most common type of program to generate income from
surfing the web. There are two main types: those that involve downloading
a small program to run an advertising window in your browser while you
surf: and those whose downloaded program runs in the task bar and alerts
you when there are ads to view. The way in which you accumulate income
also varies. Some programs pay a fixed rate per hour and others involve a
percentage of advertising income being divided on a pro rata basis amongst
its members. Other factors to consider are the referral structure and
whether you are paid for referrals even if you do not use the program
yourself and the extent to which your surfing experience is impacted.
Again down line is important. Only you can choose which programs are of
interest to you so visit our "Get Paid To View
Ads/Surf The Web" page now for detailed information. Our top
recommendation is the program from DeskTopDollars.
Their window is kept active by simply confirming your presence at the
computer every 20 minutes or so - there is no need to click things or
follow links. The referral structure is good and impact on surfing
minimal. Also there is no monthly cap as there is with some programs.

Get Paid to shop. Surely we cannot
be serious! Well actually we are but to benefit you have to be smart and
you have to be sensible. Getting paid to shop really means getting rebates
or accumulating points in one program or another in return for shopping.
There are some important rules to remember if you are going to use and
benefit from such programs. First and foremost buy only things you would
have bought anyway. Second only buy if the price is as good as you can get
elsewhere. Last if the price is higher than somewhere else is there a
return of greater or equal value to the excess you are paying? If there is
not do not buy. If you follow those simple rules these can be great places
to shop. If you do not then you will just end up blowing money. For a idea
of what it is all about why not go and visit the iGain site where
you can get rebates anywhere up to 18%. To find details about iGain and other
shopping programs go to our "Get Paid To Shop The
Web" page.
Just what is an
Affiliate Program anyway? Well the Oxford English Dictionary defines the
word affiliate as "attach, adopt or connect as a member or
branch" and Webster's Collegiate as "to bring or receive into
close connection as a member or branch". Affiliate programs mostly
involve some one signing up for a program or service and then going on to
get others to sign up for that program or service (in other words creating
a down line). The difference between that and the other programs mentioned
above is that in most cases these programs offer no income without
referrals. Further some do cost money to join whereas every program
mentioned before was free (though some have a second paid level of
membership). We make no representations about the value of these programs
though we have chosen to sign up for some and got a reasonable return on
our money. If you choose to try some of the programs that require some
money down that is fine but you do so based on your own decision. We offer
a brief synopsis of programs here but please visit the site of any you are
interested in and decide their worth based on their own site. More
information about Affiliate Programs can be found on our "Get Paid For Using
Affiliate Programs" page.
There are a whole host
of other programs that pay in all manner of ways and for doing all sorts
of things. They are loosely categorized together in these pages. generally
they are programs that will pay you with points or cash for signing up for
things like e-mail newsletter or registering on web sites or just about
anything else you can do on the web. Those that pay in points generally
offer a means to convert points to cash though not always. Some sites will
offer goods or services for the points. A good example of a site dedicated
to rewarding people for signing up for things is NetFlip.
For more programs in this varied category visit our dedicated page "Earn
Points Towards Cash Or Goods".
